Public Utilities Meeting Called to Order:
Evenson called regular meeting to order.

Agenda:
Motion made by Drake to approve agenda, second Schuck, motion carried.

Minutes:
Drake made motion to approve the minutes as read, second Schuck, motion carried.

PERSON’S WITH BUSINESS BEFORE THE COMMISSION:

HOUSEKEEPING:
A. Administrator Report: Torgerson explained financial situation year to date. She explained that we need to look at the rates so that we can have net incomes in all departments or at least break even. She will work on separating cash for the 3 major departments. She also noted that she will reinvest the CD money into the best interest rate until December, 2007.
B. Paying of the Bills: Drake made motion to pay the bills as presented, second Schuck, motion carried.
C. Past Due Bills: Reviewed past due accounts, Commission wanted to have cut offs ready for the next billing, we need to be more strict.
D. UMMPA: Jerod has a meeting this month. Would like to finalize the contract by July and then have the contracts available August or September for sign on, Wagner will report on the situation once it has been decided.
E. DPC – Annual Meeting Review: Torgerson stated she learned a lot, however she was not sure it was something that she would have to attend each year, she felt someone else could represent the Utility Commission, such as Wagner or a Commission member.
F. DPC – Municipal Appreciation Day: Torgerson noted that we need to have a list of who is going by July 6th; the members received a detail of the Appreciation Day.
G. Update on Green Power: Torgerson noted that we may not have pay for the survey since the Minnesota Department of Commerce may cover it with their grant money.
H. Additional Items: Evenson mention that he wants to look further into the following: Computer Software, bearing for Trickling filter, Tour of buildings and items that need to get done, clean up around the plant, and clean up items at the softball field. He is also concerned about the grates around the transformer moat. He also noted weeds, on the bank, that either needed to be rocked or sprayed!
Evenson requested that the next meeting to do a tour at the beginning of the meeting!
Evenson also asked to approach Jeff Schwichtenberg on the price for land next to plant.
