PERSON’S WITH BUSINESS BEFORE THE COMMISSION:
N/A

HOUSEKEEPING:
A. Paying of the Bills: Evenson made motion to pay bills as presented, second Schuck, motion carried.
B. Past Due Bills: Went over past due amounts, noted to Vickerman to work on collections.
C. Hydro Update: Vickerman noted that the crew was close to complete and that the Hydro should be back on line by the scheduled urge test at the end of the month.
D. Flooding Update: Vickerman noted that the staff is having some difficulty working with the FEMA guy on the dam and the wastewater treatment plant. Staff will continue to try to obtain funding for replacements and repairs.
E. Transformer Failure/Insurance: Vickerman has been working with Doug Gifford from Allied Insurance on reimbursement for the lighting strike.
F. Garbage Billing: Vickerman noted that a few residents wanted garbage removed for their properties. Commission discussed this but felt the fee is for the service, not the removal, so the only time Refuse and Recycling will be removed from billing is when all services are shut off.
G. Vickerman Maternity Leave: Vickerman noted that she will be gone for 6 weeks after delivery, but is working on a plan to cover her time and do some work from home. She will keep Commission updated on this.
H. Fireworks for Buffalo Bill Days: Vickerman asked the Utilities Commission to contribute to the fireworks for Buffalo Bill Days. She noted that the Fire Department put in $1,000 and the goal is $5,000. She stated that so far $2,000 has been obtained. Schuck made motion to donate $500 for the fireworks, second Evenson, motion carried.
I. Commissioner Pay for Evenson: Evenson noted that he was requesting for pay from 2007. Schuck made motion to pay the fee, second Evenson, motion carried. It was agreed that this was money owed to Evenson under the agreement of the Commissioners Ordinance, so there was no conflict of interest for him to vote for this payment.

ADJOURN:
At 6:02pm, Schuck made motion to adjourn, second by Evenson, motion carried.

Submitted Respectfully,

Bobbie Vickerman, City Administrator/Clerk
