Public Utilities Meeting Called to Order:
Evenson called regular meeting to order.

Agenda:
Torgerson suggested to add street lights for Elmwood to the agenda, motion made by Drake to approve amended agenda, second Schuck, motion carried.

Minutes:
Schuck made motion to approve the minutes as read, second Schuck, motion carried.

PERSON’S WITH BUSINESS BEFORE THE COMMISSION:

HOUSEKEEPING:
A. Administrator Report: Torgerson spoke about the Power Plus Engineering Quote for a rate study. Utility questioned as to whether that included sewer and water or if it was just Electric. Schuck made motion to hire PowerPlus Engineering for the rate study and to negotiate sewer/water if possible, second Drake, motion carried. Talked about software. Goal at end of year to explain the electric system.
B. Paying of the Bills: Evenson made motion to pay the bills as presented, second Schuck, motion carried.
C. Past Due Bills: Reviewed past due accounts, talked about cut off after first 30 days. Torgerson will look into this.
D. UMMPA: Wagner to attend August 15th, 2007 meeting
E. DPC – Municipal Appreciation Day: Evenson said he would like to see more rebates for bulbs. Torgerson explained the rebates as is. Evenson and Schuck both enjoyed the day and thought it was excellent. Torgerson gave all members packets of the Powerpoints presented that day.
F. Hydro Update: Surveyor was here and gave points to Wagner. Dept. of Commerce will be here at the end of July. Grant should pay for survey. Looking for a grant for updates.
H. Next Meeting: Capital Improvements: meeting on August 23rd, 2007. Evenson questions if some projects can wait. Call all members to remind them.
I. Street Lights for Elmwood: See Cost and talk to Jim Peterson
J. City Temporary Help:
