MEMBER ABSENT: Drake

Public Utilities Meeting Called to Order:
Evenson called regular meeting to order.

Agenda:
Motion made by Schuck to approve agenda, second Evenson, motion carried.

Minutes:
Schuck made motion to approve the minutes as read, second Evenson, motion carried.

PERSON’S WITH BUSINESS BEFORE THE COMMISSION:
Julie Kiehne – Chamber: Directory Match Grant: Julie asked the Commission on behalf of the Chamber to once again, just like the past few years, to donate $400.00 along with the City and School, so that Dairyland Power will provide a $1,200.00 match grant. Evenson made motion to approve the $400 donation for the match grant for brochures, second Schuck, motion carried.

HOUSEKEEPING:
A. Yaggy Colby Proposal and Visu-Sewer Tape on Stuart and Amy Dyreson Sewer Problems: Dyresons provided a copy of the tape to be presented to Yaggy of their sewer line. The Public Utlilities also had Visu-Sewer tape their line. Schuck made motion to approve the cleaning of the line and to accept the proposal from Yaggy Colby, second Evenson, motion carried. Evenson stated that they should have an answer for the November meeting.

B. Whitefront: Ask the Bunges what they are looking for Evenson, Schuck, motion carried.

C. Paying of the Bills: Evenson made a motion to pay bills as presented, second Schuck, motion carried.

D. Past Due Bills: Reviewed bills, working on collecting.

E. UMMPA/Electric Purchasing: Jerod will be attending an UMMPA meeting tomorrow and should know more at that time. Torgerson will call a special meeting if necessary for the Utility to discuss electric purchasing.

Torgerson and Mayor Rahn presented Jim Peterson with a print for his 20 years of service to the Lanesboro Public Utilities. The Mayor and Chair of the Commission thanked him for his dedicated service, and expect another 20 years!

At 6:25pm, Schuck made motion to adjourn, second by Evenson, motion carried.
