REGULAR MEETING:
The meeting was called to order by Chairman Evenson. The agenda was approved with a motion by O’Connor, second by Schuck, motion carried. The minutes of the April 19, 2010 meeting, were approved with a motion by O’Connor, second by Schuck, motion carried.

PERSONS WITH BUSINESS BEFORE THE COMMISSION:
Jason Boynton – Smith Schafer and Associates: 2009 Audit report
Boynton overviewed the financial statements and audit letter. He also presented the Commission with a power point that detailed the highlights of 2009. Boynton noted that the audit went very well and that the Utilities are doing well. He stated that as in the past he suggests that the balance sheet be broken down by fund, to which, he recognized that this will be done once the Commission is using Banyon for its financials which will be 2010. He stated that sewer had a loss after depreciation so the Commission should continually look at costs and rates for all funds.

HOUSEKEEPING:
Paying of the Bills: O’Connor made a motion to pay the bills as presented and the normal bills that occur, second Schuck, motion carried.
Past Due Bills: Reviewed accounts. O’Connor made a motion to pursue the cut off procedure for the accounts over 60 days, second Schuck, motion carried.
UMMPA: Wagner updated the Commission on UMMPA’s pursuit of green energy. He noted they are looking into wind power and biomass at this time.
Dam/Hydro: Peterson reported the staff changed the oil on the hydro and that he predicted that in May the hydro could produce up to 150,000 kw. He stated the urge test was done on May 18th and he felt it was successful.
Miscellaneous: Wagner and Peterson brought up the roof on the power plant, noting that it was leaking badly in some areas. The commissioners asked the staff to seek out pricing for roof replacement or repair.

The meeting stood adjourned at 12:56 p.m. on a motion by O’Connor, second by Schuck, motion carried.
